Once we got started, we made a lot of progress though. First, we needed to get some chores done around the house. Eva is always very willing to help mommy...no matter what her attire. All you really need is a shirt, your brother's slippers and a vaccuum.
And then we decided to wash mommy's car...this is not a small task by any means. Lucas is quite the pro though as he helps daddy wash his car all the time. He knows the program...first, you get the bucket ready.
Eva watched the little pro very closely for guidance. She is a quick study.
And, for a little bit of fun and a short lived feeling of power, Lucas was allowed to rinse the truck with the hose. Poor Eva was not exactly thrilled with Lucas' experience with the hose. As you can see, she is now a pro at getting drenched.
After all the hard work, it was time for a birthday party. The party was for a little girl in Lucas' class, and it was a costume/Halloween themed party. So, Peter Pan and Tinkerbell accompanied me to the event.
They had a bounce house, swing set, pumpkins to paint, face painting, pinatas and Halloween buckets. Mickey Mouse even showed up. Eva loved him...Lucas not so much.

We had a blast, but boy are we tired!

Eva and Lucas, have you checked the kid labor laws - Ha! Ha!
Never too young to learn how to help. The good news is everyone is enjoying it. Now for Eva, she must be a free spirit and like the fresh air when cleaning house.
Oh....I LOVE Peter Pan and Tinkerbell. They were adorable! Did that Mickey Mouse have fangs? I might be a little scared too, hahaha. See ya next. Thursday!
