We were in a quandery last night as it was Halloween. Have you ever had to celebrate Halloween on the road, away from home? What do you do? Where do you go?
Well, the answer, of course, is Publix. Who knew?
We put the kid's costumes on and off to the grocery store we went.
Our first stop, the Customer Service desk - "Trick or Treat." And, then it's off to the deli counter.
Oh, but the next stop was our favorite - the bakery. There has to be a really good treat there.
As we move on, it becomes a little bit fishy though...yes, you guessed it, the seafood department. Hmmm??
Along our travels throughout Publix, we learned of a little celebration at the Baptist Church across the street. So, why not?
It was a very small and friendly church. They had the most adorable puppet show. And, it was quite the production. The theme was about not getting scared, because God is bigger than the boogey man and he's always with you, taking care of you. This was a great message and definitely fits into our little Lucas' current state of mind. This was truly the highlight of our evening.
Following the puppet show, it was time for treats...the church had a line of cars in the parking lot with their trunks decorated and treats galore.
So, needless to say, the kids made out with the candy and most importantly had a great time.

Even on the road our little munkins are adorable. Yummy, Yummy, Yummy. Publix the friendly neighborhood store. As usual even on the road Daddy and Mommy are sure things are special. We love them!
Wow - i started to feel bad that the kids wouldn't have a "normal" Halloween, but it sounds like it was extraordinarily awesome - and full of great surprises.
Tinkerbell and Peter Pan looked outstanding.
