He really likes his new teacher, Ms. Nicole. And he has several friends with him from last year's Pre-K 3 class.
We are definitely growing up...every morning when Lucas comes into class, not only do mommy and daddy have to sign him in, but Lucas has to sign himself in.
First, he finds the folder with his name on it and takes out his sign in sheet...
Then, he finds his card with his name printed on it and signs in.
And, then it's off to explore...
This is a very exciting year! A huge step up in the learning process.
And, then for little Miss Eva who wanted to start going to school last year...
Well, let's just say that mommy wants to keep her one more year. She is only going to be little for a short time and will be in school for soooo many years. So, that being said, we had to come up with a scenario where Eva thinks that she is going to her own school.
On Tuesdays and every other Thursday, I have activities at church where Eva goes into a classroom with other little ones her age. Perfect! We are now calling it school...
Plus she has friends in her class who she has known all along, like Morgan, Sam and Chad. And the great thing is that her best friend, Rachel, is with her too.
It was a great first day! We are looking forward to a fantastic year.

Oh, we grow up so quickly. Lucas you are such a "little" man with signing in and exploring new adventures.
Church school sounds exciting Eva and getting to be with all your friends and your best bud is so thrilling.
